CHRONOS ANIMAL WELFARE TEAM GROWS WITH ADDITION OF RIA POPAT
(London, 07/01/25) Chronos Sustainability (“Chronos”), the award-winning sustainability consultancy, has announced the appointment of Ria Popat as Research Analyst, Animal Welfare.
Ria joins Chronos from DEFRA’s Animal Plant Health and Welfare Directorate where as Senior Scientific Research Fellow she evaluated policy areas of the UK’s Bovine TB policy.
With an academic background in bio veterinary science and global wildlife health, Ria will support the extensive programme of work on animal welfare led by our Food and Health team, including the Business Benchmark on Farm Animal Welfare (BBFAW) and the Global Coalition on Animal Welfare (GCAW). She will also contribute to the company’s wider work including its Biodiversity and Nature and Responsible Investment programmes.
