Chronos Sustainability is an award-winning specialist advisory company with the fundamental objective of delivering transformative, systemic change in the social and environmental performance of key industry sectors.
Established in 2017 by Dr Rory Sullivan and Nicky Amos, we are a global team of approximately 20 specialists.
We have deep expertise in responsible investment, in corporate sustainability and in stakeholder analysis and engagement. Our multi-disciplinary team has internationally recognised expertise across the spectrum of sustainability-related issues, including climate change, water, plastics and waste management, biodiversity and ecosystem services, wildlife, human rights and labour standards, and animal welfare.
We work extensively with policymakers - often in partnership with organisations such as the World Bank, the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) and UNEPFI - on policy design, implementation and analysis.
Examples include our work on climate change (e.g. the CA100+ Net Zero Company Benchmark, the responsible corporate climate change lobbying framework, the Transition Pathway Initiative), mental health (the CCLA Mental Health Benchmark), water (the WaterAid Investor Expectations framework), ocean plastic pollution (through projects with the Global Ghost Gear Initiative, and with PRI), and farm animal welfare (the Business Benchmark on Farm Animal Welfare).
