HELPING STOREBRAND ASSET MANAGEMENT WITH STEWARDSHIP REPORTING
Chronos supported Storebrand Asset Management, a leading asset manager in the Nordic region, with the development of its stewardship report, helping it achieve signatory status with the FRC UK Stewardship Code.
The UK Stewardship Code sets high expectations of asset managers and asset owners, and requires a clear annual account of stewardship processes, activities and outcomes, and how that has supported the responsible allocation and management of capital.
As part of the project, we helped Storebrand to clarify the scope of its stewardship reporting and to offer a clear account of how its relevant policies and processes delivered its stewardship objectives.
Our work included strategic advice to ensure the value-add of stewardship was at the heart of the report’s messaging, editing, and a completeness check of the final report against each of the UK Stewardship Code’s reporting expectations to replicate the FRC’s review process.
After publication, Storebrand was successfully listed as as a signatory to the UK Stewardship Code in 2024.
