PROGRAMME MANAGER CATALINA EGGERSJOINS CHRONOS AS ANIMAL WELFARE SPECIALIST
Chronos has appointed Catalina Eggers as Programme Manager for Animal Welfare in its Food and Health team.
Catalina will primarily support the management and delivery of the Business Benchmark on Farm Animal Welfare (BBFAW) – a multi-stakeholder initiative recognised as the world’s most authoritative measure of corporate animal welfare management. Catalina will also contribute to the Global Coalition for Animal Welfare and the company’s extensive corporate work on animal welfare, sustainable food and health-related issues.
Catalina previously worked with Compassion in World Farming, where she supported the implementation of its corporate engagement program. She is a trained lawyer and worked in the Environment and Natural Resources Team of Correa Squella, and Public and Regulatory Law Team at Bofill Mir & Álvarez Jana Abogados – both law firms in Chile. Catalina also has an MSc in Environmental Policy and Regulation from the London School of Economics.

Catalina is the latest addition to Chronos’ team and network of global sustainability experts. Chronos’ recent appointments include Jemima Jewell, Supply Chain Specialist; David Russell as European Sustainability Specialist; Oceans Specialist Tanya Cox, Pins Brown as Human Rights Specialist; Laura Fox as Manager, Biodiversity and Agriculture and Former PRI Head of Communications Elliot Frankal as Communications Specialist.
Chronos was recently shortlisted as ‘Consultancy of Year’ at the UK Green Business Awards and was previously named Sustainability Consultancy of the Year in the edie Awards, the UK's largest sustainable business awards. It was also named Best Sustainable Investment Consultancy in the Investment Week Sustainable Investment Awards 2023, and was Environmental Finance’s Consultant/Advisor of the Year in its 2022 and 2021 Impact Awards.
